HEllo, i am andrea lehnert

My name is Andrea Lehnert, born on May 21, 1969 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany.  I have been living and working as an artist in Marbella, Spain, for four years.

Since then I have devoted myself intensively to my great passion, painting.  As a medium to express my inner being and my way of meditating, I bring images to the canvas that emerge deep within me and are therefore unique.  This creates a symbiosis of trance and often hard physical and artistic work.

For me, painting is an urgency of my daily life.  I'm very close to nature and on daily long walks with my dog ​​I absorb the fantastic blue of the sea, the exploding colors of nature and the beautiful Spanish light very intensely.  This creates an urgent need for me to express myself on canvas.

The resulting inner width makes me very happy.

I usually paint my abstract-expressionist works very powerfully and let my subconscious run free.  For my large-format paintings, I use high-quality coated canvas, bright acrylic paint, spatula or sponge and sometimes my fingers.

I really enjoy painting and it is important to me to share these beautiful impressions and colors of my dream home Andalusia.  I want to trigger joy and happiness in the viewer of my works.
